Frequently asked questions…

What is the dress code for your wedding ceremony and reception?

To embrace the Mardi Gras spirit, our dress code is “Festive Formal”—meaning formal attire with a fun twist. Feel free to go bold with color, patterns, or sparkle if you like! However, If you prefer to keep things simple, classic formal attire is welcome as well!

Are children welcome?

Our wedding ceremony and afterparty will be adults only. Children are welcome to join us for our Wedding cocktail party and our Sunday brunch and second line.

What is a “Second Line?”

A New Orleans second line is a lively parade tradition that’s all about celebration and community. It usually features a brass band leading the way, playing upbeat music while people follow, dancing and waving handkerchiefs or parasols in the air. There are two parts to the parade: the "first line," made up of the main participants like the band and the event organizers, and the "second line," which is everyone who joins in.

What can I expect at a traditional New Orleans wedding reception?

A “reception-style” new Orleans wedding is a bit more relaxed and informal compared to the traditional sit-down dinner with a seating chart. At a new orleans style wedding, you can expect a buffet style meal with open seating.
